Children's Ministries

	Marion Christian Center Is Centering Children’s Lives on Christ.
We are very glad to have your children here with us. Our desire is to help your children CENTER on the following areas: 1. Center on their relationship with Jesus. 2. Center on their relationships with family, both natural and spiritual, and friends. 3. Center on their purpose. 4. Center on how to be a light in the world. One of the ways we seek to fulfill God’s desire for children is by providing Sunday Morning & Evening programs for children from birth through the 6th grade. We provide a safe environment with qualified teachers for the children to learn about God using age appropriate materials. • Our Sunday School meets from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. • Our Children’s Church is after the worship service until Noon • Our Sunday evening groups are from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Center Kids’ Sunday School Nursery — Birth to 24 months • This class is located on the left in the Sanctuary Hallway Preschool 1 — 24 months to 48 months • This class is located on the right in the Sanctuary Hallway Preschool 2 — 48 months through Kindergarten • This class is located on the right in the main hallway of our Family Life Center Early Elementary — 1st & 2nd Grades • This class is located in the first room on the left in the main hallway of our Family Life Center Middle Elementary — 3rd & 4th Grades • This class is located in the last room on the left in the main hallway of our Family Life Center Older Elementary — 5th & 6th Grades • This class is located off the Gym. The 2nd door to the left side of the gym	Center Kids’ Children’s Church Children’s Church begins after our worship service so that the children can be involved in the worship experience. Children’s Church is a time of teaching and ministry designed to speak directly to children through various teaching methods (stories, puppets, drama, games, etc.) Preschool 1—24 to 48 months • This class meets in the room on the right in the Sanctuary Hallway Preschool 2—48 month-Kindergarten • This class is located on the right in the main hallway of our Family Life Center Elementary—"The Word Zone" 1st-5th • This class is located off the Gym. During the Main Service Nursery • The nursery is available throughout the service for children birth through 24 months Preschool Worship • Our supervised preschool worship area is located in the north wing and is available for preschoolers to worship together during the worship service. This is for ages 2—5 years old. King’s Kids • This supervised group for children age 5 through the 3rd grade meet together up front to the right of the pulpit area during the worship service	Sunday Evening Groups Pre-School 1 & 2 • This class is located on the right in the Sanctuary Hallway Kids for Christ: 1st through 6th Grades • This class is located in the first room to the right in the main hallway of our Family Life Center
Upward Sports • This sports ministry is for 4 years old through 6th grade boys & girls and features equal teams, equal playing time, post-game awards, and much more. Practices and games are each limited to one hour per week.	Midweek Ministering Arts Teams • We currently have teams for boys & girls age 5 through 3rd grade and girls 4th –8th grades.

Parents Make It Possible

For the safety of your children, we ask that a parent or authorized person pickup children, birth through the second grade, after Sunday School.

We also ask the parent to complete a registration form for each child. This form is available from your child’s teacher.

Please feel free to ask questions or share with your child’s teacher any information that will help us as we help to care for your child and mentor them for Christ.
