The Holy Spirit is sweeping the earth with a
prayer movement that combines worship, intercession and the
arts. Revelation 5:8: "The twenty
-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a HARP and
golden BOWLS of incense, which are the prayers of the saints."
The HARP speaks of God's music and
the songs in worship. The BOWLS speak of God's prayers prayed
by us, His saints. Worship and intercession are expressed
physically through the arts, falling down before the throne,
or dancing, clapping, etc.
Prayer and intercession are not laborious
and hard. When we mix thanksgiving, praise, worship, and music
it becomes a delight, not a burden. The prophetic flow is
stirred. We get into the river and just flow. The anointing
and power of the Holy Spirit is greater.
Prophetic worship releases the sound of
heaven and brings freedom, deliverance, healings, signs,
wonders, and miracles. "because the creation itself also will
be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious
liberty of the children of God." Romans 8:21. "Now the
Lord is Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
liberty" 2 Corinthians 3:17.
We honor the Holy Spirit, giving Him all
respect and freedom. "For the flesh lusts against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to
one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish."
Gal 5:17
The Harp and Bowl give ample time for the
manifestation of His Spirit. We desire:
- Powerful worship
- Greater spiritual breakthrough
- stronger manifestation of God's Presence
- More frequent manifestations
- More angelic visitations
- ease in ministry of the Word.
2 Chronicles 29:28-30 - "The entire assembly
worshiped the Lord as the singers sang and the trumpets blew,
until all the burnt offerings were finished. Then the king and
everyone with him bowed down in worship. King Hezekiah and the
officials ordered the Levites to praise the Lord with the
psalms of David and Asaph the seer. So they offered joyous
praise and bowed down in worship." NLT
We experience the Harp and Bowl Prayer in an
open forum. The prayer leader gives direction as the Holy
Spirit moves and intercession comes forth. The worship team
brings forth the music. The dance team brings forth physical
expression. All attending the Harp and Bowl are encouraged to
participate fully through physical expression of the arts,
worship and intercession. There is opportunity given to come
to the microphone to pray or sing your intercession. If you
feel you have something to share or are not sure, we have a
gatekeeper at the microphone to help you. Many times at Harp
and Bowl there are corporate prophetic acts that involve
everyone present. This type of prayer is powerful, anointed,
and impacts the spirit realm.
